Doreen Andrea, General Manager

Doreen Andrea is the General Manager, she has been with the company since 1987 and has worked her way from a credit clerk to GM. In additional to running the company she is actively involved in all aspects of the organization. Doreen has her purchasing designation and has a back ground in pure mathematics honors in addition to a business diploma.

Laura Barbison, Technical Manager

As Technical Manager, Laura’s focus lies in ensuring company compliance with numerous regulations across various aspects of the business. Since joining Plant-Prod, Laura has taken on the role of overseeing the formulation of new products, and provides front-line technical product support to sales representatives and customers. Laura completed both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at the University of Guelph, with a focus in Plant Pathology.

Jerry Weber, Director of Sales and Marketing

Jerry Weber is the Director of Sales and Marketing at MPPI, and has been involved in the promotion of Plant Prod water soluble fertilizer since 2006. With over 25 years experience in the Horticulture Industry, Jerry manages the Global Distribution of Plant Prod water soluble fertilizer, along with the innovation of new products to meet the changing needs of our end users. Jerry has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Brock University.

Ashley Capitano, Director of Supply Chain

Ashley Capitano is the Director of Supply Chain and has been with MPPI since 2009. In her role, Ashley manages the day to day processes of the supply chain within the organization ensuring a smooth operation, while analyzing efficiency and anticipating and resolving the supply chain disruptions and challenges. Ashley has a BA in Communication Studies from York University and a Certification in Supply Chain Management from Supply Chain Canada.

Sam Walther, US Technical Sales Manager

Sam, has been a member of the MPPI team since 2019, leads US sales and works closely with our distributors. With over 30 years of experience, he has been involved in nearly every facet of the green space industry, including horticulture, cannabis, and hydroponics.

Ryan Cummins, US Technical Sales Representative - West Region

With a strong passion for delivering innovative solutions, Ryan brings a wealth of energy to promoting our Plantex Water Soluble Fertilizer Brand. Ryan has a proven track record of building lasting relationships with clients and understanding their unique needs.

In his role, Ryan is instrumental in driving sales growth and working closely with our Distribution Partners.
